The kids duathlon is back again for 2026!
We are delighted to have the support of Brancott Estate Vineyard who offer us their beautiful, off-road vineyard setting for the Harcourts Marlborough Kids Duathlon.

The Duathlon will operate regardless of weather conditions. The entry fee per child is payable upon registration. You must select what course you want your child to take part in. There are 3 options available this year.
Race 1
Run 1km | Bike 3km | Run 1km
Course is open to kids 6-18yrs. You are welcome to walk or run. Choose your course according to your age and fitness level. Please note that distances are approximate.
$20 per participant.
Long Course
Run 2km | Bike 5.5km | Run 1km
Course is open to kids 6-18yrs. You are welcome to walk or run. Choose your course according to your age and fitness level. Please note that distances are approximate.
$20 per participant.
Beat the Bear
500m walk/run
Course is open to kids 4-7yrs. Parents are welcome to join their child on this one if they wish to support and encourage.
$10 per participant.
Before the event
Race Number Collection
We recommend you collect your race number and t-shirt (if you ordered one) before the day, as it will be very busy at the venue.
Race numbers and t-shirts will be available at Bike Fit Marlborough, 24 Market Street, Blenheim on Saturday 17th of October from 9.30am and 2pm and at the venue on Sunday 18th October between 8:30am – 9am
Start times
Beat the Bear will start promptly at 9:20am, Short Course at 9.40am and Long Course at 10.15am (or when everyone has finished the Short Course). We ask that everyone please be present for the briefing which starts at 9:15am at the finish area. All bikes must be ready and in transition by 9.00 am
Drinks and water
To minimise waste and our environmental impact, please bring your own reusable drink bottle. There will be water available to refill your bottle on site.
T Shirts
The 2026 collectors t-shirt is available in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, adult medium, large and extra large. T-shirts must be pre-ordered and paid at time of entry. T-shirt orders are not available after 30th September 2026. We are not able to refund any entry fees after the closing date or t-shirt payments after 30th September 2026.
Entries close
14th October 2026. Limited registrations will be taken on the day. Any entries after 14 October are not eligible for spot prize draws. Entries are strictly limited to 500 and will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Race briefing and rules
Briefing starts at 9:15am at the Finish area. All participants are eligible for the major spot prizes of a bike and helmet from bike fit. Every race number will go into the draw that we do on the day but participants must be present at prize giving to claim them.
A list of other spot prize winners will be displayed and prizes available for collection at the registration tent. Late entries (after 14th October) are not eligible for minor spot prizes, sorry.
